The British School of Bucharest employs around 200 people in a variety of teaching and support roles. Whatever our roles, we work as one big team, one community, to provide high-quality teaching and excellent services to parents and students. Collectively, we aim to ensure quality education in Bucharest.

We expect a great deal from our highly qualified and committed teaching staff and, in return, ensure that they have a rewarding and comfortable life here at the school. Many of our expatriate staff have families and look to settle in Bucharest, establishing themselves within the school and the community for a long, fulfilling career. Our teachers and staff all enjoy an active social calendar – whatever their interests, they are never short of exciting and fun activities in which to take part. Our robust support system facilitates excellence across all aspects of the school, delivering quality education in Bucharest. The Catering Team serve up to 500 meals every day, while the Facilities Team looks look after over two hectares of land and 12,000 square metres of buildings. From Accounts and Admissions through to Human Resources and our Libraries, the support departments at the British School of Bucharest are specialist, diverse and crucial to the school’s ongoing success.
