Tim Greenway


Teacher of Science

Tim Greenway joined the British School of Bucharest in 2020 as a Secondary Physics Teacher. He obtained his B.Ed. in Physical Science from the University of Greenwich and his Masters in Education from the University of Leeds. Tim has over 15 years of experience in the UK as a Teacher, Head of Science, Local Authority Science consultant and Deputy Headteacher. He spent four years as a Science and STEM education advisor for Redcar, Cleveland, and Middlesbrough Local Education Authorities before moving into international education in 2012. He worked for three years as the Senior Science Advisor for the Ministry of Education in Oman and a further two as the Curriculum Senior Manager for the Institute of Applied Technology in Abu Dhabi. In 2017 he moved to Tanzania as a Head of Secondary and from there to Burma, where he returned to a Science/Physics teaching role.
