Thomas Haysom
Teacher of Mathematics
Thomas Haysom joined the British School of
Bucharest in 2019 as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher. Having attained a first-class honours
degree from the University of Bath, Thomas attended the University of Exeter to
complete his Postgraduate Certificate of Education in Mathematics and started
his teaching career nine years ago at Torquay Boys' Grammar School, UK. He then
did four years at Bryanston School, UK. He further exercised his
love for teaching in Nepal, where he led teacher training seminars on Maths and
English for government-supported schools, as part of the “Right4Children” NGO
project. Thomas is a keen cyclist, squash player and has
completed several long-distance treks, including the Camino de Santiago and the
Annapurna Himalayan circuit.
