Head of Science
Eva Cliffe studied Natural Sciences (Biological) at Newnham College, Cambridge, then worked in the industry as a Development Chemist. After spending some time as a youth worker, she completed her teacher training in Stoke-on-Trent, where she worked in a local school as a Teacher of Chemistry. Eva joins BSB from Hong Kong, where she has spent a year working for the international NGO Crossroads Foundation. Before this sabbatical, she taught Chemistry at the prestigious Harrow International School Hong Kong before becoming Head of Chemistry for four years and Head of Scholars for the following two. During all six years, she was also the Assistant House Mistress of a Boarding House. Eva has led a range of extracurricular activities, including STEAM, musical theatre and knitting! She also loves to experience new places and cultures and has been all around the world with school trips, from Fiji to China, India and the Galapagos Islands.
