Head of Faculty and Teacher of English

Aine Staunton joined the British School of Bucharest in 2016 as Head of English in Secondary. She comes from a small county in the west of Ireland. Aine moved to the rainiest city in Ireland, Limerick, where she completed her undergraduate degree and an MA in Modern English Literature at the University of Limerick before going on to do a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Aine feels very privileged to have had the opportunity to travel and work all over the world, including Sweden, New Zealand and China, before moving to Romania.
