Naima has 11 years teaching experience across the Primary age range both in International and British schools. She has previously held the posts of Head KS1, SENCO, Head of Assessment and Head of Primary. This is Naima’s eighth year at the British School of Bucharest, she is currently Deputy Principal.

Child Care and Education with additional training in Care of Babies and young Children

This is Claire’s fourth year teaching Creche and supporting our Toddler Group. Before moving to Bucharest Claire worked in British Schools in Beijing, Venezuela and Kuwait covering all the foundation stage years, Creche being the year Claire enjoys the most.

Chris has over 30 years experience working with small children, in various nurseries and schools. This year Chris is leading Crib. She joined BSB in 2009 and this is her third year.

Claire is a qualified teacher with a degree specialism in Early Years. She has previously worked in Foundation Stage as a Nursery and Reception Teacher and has a good undestanding of child development and childcare. Claire is our EYFS Coordinator.

Kayleigh Evans

Kayleigh has experienced teaching Early Years in UK and Russian schools. She has completed a BA Early Years Education with Qualified Teacher status. Kayleigh is part of our Reception team, this is her third year at BSB

Catherine has been employed as a Year 1 and Early Years Teacher in a British School in Germany. She also worked as a volunteer at a UK primary school in a variety of year groups ranging from Reception to Year Six. This year Catherine will teach Reception.

Tiffany previously worked at the British School of Bucharest 2004 - 2007 as Year 3 Teacher, KS2 and KS1 Coordinator and Child Protection Officer. This year Tiffany is Head of Primary.

Tracy graduated Glasgow University, with a Bachelor in Primary Education, then again obtaining her teaching qualification. She has a good experience in teaching in primary school classes, being a highly motivated person in this field of activity. This year she will teach Year 3 and coordinate Primary Numeracy

She speaks English, Romanian, German and Spanish, and she is currently learning Greek. Dorothea will lead the MFL Faculty this year.

Rocio has worked various British Schools in Spain for 3 years. She joined BSB three years ago as a Co-ordinator for SEN department and she is teaching Spanish in the Primary School and to Year 7 students.
